Purpose
Friends for Special Needs is a nonprofit organization that provides community outreach programs for families with special needs. We foster friendships and engage in fun activities, including crafts, music, sports, and games specially designed for individuals with special needs. With a focus on promoting learning opportunities within a welcoming and inclusive environment, we take the initiative to increase community awareness about employment for individuals with special needs.
History
Friends for Special Needs (FFSN) was founded in 2015, starting with a Friday Night Respite Program. FFSN has since grown to provide a variety of student-run programs and continues to serve the special needs population. FFSN has developed under the commitment of warm-hearted student leaders and unmatched guidance from dedicated mentors. We hope to continue to grow as an organization to support our special needs friends.
